Kollengo features an integrated AI Assistant designed to help you navigate and analyze your contract repository using natural language.

How it Works

The AI Assistant is built to understand your specific contracting environment. Instead of relying on general knowledge, it answers questions based directly on the contracts, products, and clauses stored in your Kollengo account.

  • Secure & Private: The assistant only has access to data within your specific organization. Your sensitive contract records are kept private and are never used to train public AI models.
  • Manual Context: You control exactly what information the AI uses to answer your questions. By clicking the Context button, you can pick specific items from your library to “ground” the assistant’s memory:
    • Products: Query product features and their linked clauses.
    • Contracts: Search through metadata, execution status, and full document text.
    • Clauses: Analyze specific clause titles, content, and tags.
  • Instant Insights: Ask complex questions across your entire repository—from deal bottlenecks to specific legal risks—and get answers in seconds.

Accessing the Assistant

Find the AI Assistant in the main application sidebar. Use the libraries icon to open the context selector and refine the data the AI should use to answer your questions.

Soon, you’ll be able to ask for complex data analysis and receive:

  • Instant Visualizations: Ask for “a bar chart of contract volume by month” or “a breakdown of clause rejection rates” and get a generated chart immediately.
  • Downloadable Data: Use natural language to filter your data and download it as a CSV or Excel file (e.g., “Give me a spreadsheet of all active contracts with a value over $50k expiring this quarter”).
